This is a good product! Other splitters I've bought in the past have shorted out my car's electrical system or at least blown the cigarette lighter fuse. This product did NOT do that. It has a built-in fuse which, in the event of an overload, will blow BEFORE your vehicle's fuse blows. It worked great! I use it to power my radar detector and GPS. It also has a built in feature that digitally displays how much power your vehicle's electrical system is producing. This is a very handy feature, if your alternator ever fails you can see it and fix it BEFORE the battery dies. In general the product is good and worth the money!
