So if you look at my photos, here you can see the prewash with my daughter and the wash after. I like that it's cotton and they're pretty thin. They're great for fall and even for chilly summer nights when we're out in the mountains. This is definitely an average size, especially if you try them on before washing. They pull some in the dryer, which is a lot better for us. It fits my daughter a little better now. It's on the border between small and medium, so we can go in any direction many times. She is a bit tall for her age and has an average weight of about forty-four pounds. This shirt is slightly longer, hence the tunic style, and has a graduated hem where it is slightly shorter in the front and slightly longer in the back. It would be great for someone when they need to fuel things up. The colors in this pack are fun and definitely go with a lot of things. I love the polo stripes and the colors are beautiful. I don't like that about these shirts. Scoop necks are generally great, but when they're very skinny and don't have enough support, they tend to pucker. Unfortunately, that's exactly what's happening here. I managed to smooth it out a bit but that's only after one wash. What usually happens after every wash is that it stretches a little more and a little more until it gets very sloppy. I would like the fabric around the neck to be more textured. I would call them medium soft. They actually got a little softer when they came out of the dryer, but they're still not super soft. Maybe it has something to do with the thinness of the cotton but they are soft enough that she loves them and I am happy.
