Review on 🚲 Swagman XC2 Hitch Mount Bike Rack for 2-Inch Receiver in Black - Enhancing SEO by Mark Tarnowski

Lie! Illusion! My bike jumped off the bike rack despite being properly secured.

I've used it a few times just to tie bike tires to a wheel support with no problem. However, on a long drive, I strapped the bike and luggage rack to the back of my RV. I think a few extra mounting points would help keep the bike rack from rocking as much. As I was driving at 75 mph on I-44 in Joplin, I noticed my bike was completely misplaced. , I attached my bike to 4 different points: I used Gear-Ties to attach the bikes to the bike racks and I used Espessa Bike Rack Straps to attach the bike to the vertical post of the bike rack and also have a hook on the vertical rack, designed to hold a bike on a bike rack. After 4 hours of riding I looked back and saw the bike had fallen out of the post. The Espessa Rack Strap is long gone, and the vertical rack hook has gone up against the laws of physics. My bike was only attached with Gear Ties which if I hadn't used them as extra mounts would have wrecked my bike on the freeway. When I got home I looked around my bike rack and both wheel pans were bent down. A photo of this curved tray is attached. My bike also weighs no more than 35 pounds, which is the maximum weight for each set of trays. A photo of my badly damaged steering wheel is also included. Replacing new grips and bars cost me about $150. This bike rack didn't live up to my expectations and I would like to buy a different bike rack but due to the cost of bike racks and the cost of replacing the handlebars this is simply not an option for me at this time. I guess now all I have to do is fold down the seats in the car and put the bike in the back seat of the car.
