Review on Larkar Dimmable Industrial Lampshade Hardwire by Stacie Bird

I bought this a few months ago. It was so difficult to unwrap them that I put them back in the box to return them, which of course I forgot. I recently decided to give it another try and am very glad I stayed with him. So be aware: they've got every inch of these things wrapped in paper, foam, and cellophane, so bring a cutting tool and wait a while. The part of the arm that connects to the base makes it almost impossible, no kidding, to move in any direction. I thought I would break it and I scratched the first one. I drenched this pup in WD40 and in between and by basically throwing all my weight at him I got him to move. Once it peeled off, it wasn't that bad. The installation LOOKS really complicated, mostly because they (kindly) gave you everything you need to wire these things up. If you just want to plug them in, simply unscrew the large round piece of silver from the base, secure it to the wall with the screws and anchors provided, then screw it back onto the base. Everything is pretty simple. The translation of instructions is charming, but inefficient and confusing. Otherwise unbeatable value for money.
