Audio Delay - Video Converter

This review is based on the manufacturer. I have both the 1080HD version and this 4K version of the product. The 1080HD version works great, I've had it for a long time. Because of this experience, I decided to buy this 4K version. Both versions were connected to a 2020 Apple TV 4K. I'm using this 4K J-Tech unit to split an HDMI signal from an Apple TV 4K to HDMI going to the TV and optical audio to my receiver. , but the sound is a problem. There's a noticeable lag in audio sync, which is delivered via 4K J-Tech. I have optimized every possible setting on my 4K TV, Apple TV 4K and 5.1 audio receiver. After extensive testing and transitions between the J-Tech 1080HD version and this J-Tech 4K version, I can 100% confirm that the J-Tech 4K version produces a noticeable audio lag. I don't know if this is an isolated issue in the derived device or an older issue in the product itself. I would like J-Tech Support to investigate this and let us know what is going on. Until then, I'm giving the product one star, which I'm willing to re-rate when the issue is resolved. At this time I would not recommend this product until the audio lag is fixed or explained. Hope to hear from J-Tech.
