These labels are designed for use with laser and inkjet printers. I used them in a laser printer for my Christmas address labels and was very disappointed that they were smudged and less legible; There are some issues with laser ink sticking to them. (I printed the same copy on plain paper and everything was fine, so the problem was with the labels, not the ink cartridge.) Unfortunately, I ordered it in May and didn't use it until November, so the return window was closing. Maybe they're suitable for inkjet printers, but I wouldn't risk it. UPDATE December 19, 2017: I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to replace it for free. They said that problems with laser printers are not common and that the problem may be with a specific batch. Customer service was very professional.
