Masks are easier to wear. It keeps the mask in place and significantly reduces goggle fogging. It took me a few tries to place them correctly, but they will easily fit into whatever mask you make. They have a sticky side on one side, but it helped to hold them in place while stitching around them to keep them in place permanently. I would buy them again.
