I use 3 monitors at work and wanted to have a similar setup when working at home. I have many monitors, all with VGA connectors. I couldn't get my previous working setup (1 VGA connection to laptop and 1 Lenovo port replicator with video) to work with my current work laptop because new laptops no longer come with VGA ports and Lenovo replicator drivers even though they have Windows 10 The laptop from my previous employer doesn't even recognize Win 10 on the HP Elitebook 755 G5 I currently have. I have an HP Slimline Dock for Elitebook that only has a VGA connector but has 2 DisplayPort video connectors. Solution: Bought 2 VGA-Displayport adapters. Monitors connected to adapters, adapters connected to Displayport connectors, installed and done. No fuss, no fuss.
