I have a 2010 Mercedes E550. The charging function works quite well, however for music I had to use the AUX mode via the charging port. The audio jack works too. The media function says that there is no device. I tried to use my icarsoft MB11 device and nothing changed. A properly set AUX mode sounds pretty good on both ports. The fact that I can charge my phone and play music (XM/Pandora/etc) is a win for me. I would have liked the multimedia mode to be separate from the AUX mode, which is why I'm giving it four stars. For saving money and making the conversion easier, this is pretty good.
