This is a small toaster, smaller than I thought it would be. Because of the large bulge at the back of the oven, it can cook a large 12-inch grocery store pizza. The oven is too small to roast whole chickens. I used the convection oven feature once when I bought it and didn't like the results so never used it again. The oven works normally, there is no air circulation. The timer is only good for 30 minutes, a 60 minute timer would be better, and you can run the oven for long periods without a timer. The oven is small and heats up relatively quickly. The elements appear to heat food evenly, although food tends to brown toward the back of the oven, which is common with most toasters. The oven has a cool curved glass lid which I love. My previous oven was a very large Walmart Faberware oven that I bought for $50. I used it for years but it finally broke trying to roast a 7lb turkey for 3 hours on Thanksgiving. It's probably best to use these toasters for an hour or less as they don't last as long as a regular oven. This is a good little basic toaster that can bake a large pizza so it's perfect for my needs. Walmart seems to be another good place to consider when shopping for a toaster.
