Review on ☕ A Perfect Morning Brew: BC Classics BC-90264 6-Cup Electric Coffee Maker for Clear and Silver Perfection by Amber Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good, CHEAP kettle.

I bought this so my husband can make himself an espresso. It works and costs about a third of the next cheapest kettle. Revain offers it at the best price. This six-cup pot requires just under 250ml of water for a full pot. drop it (Uh-huh.) The bottom is aluminum, like a Bialetti pot. The electric base has a nice safety feature - if you pick up a pot, the heat turns off. This reduces the chances of you setting the house on fire. There is a small red light on the toggle switch so you can easily see if the pot is on. It is very easy to use - my 11 year old can make a delicious cup of coffee. Perhaps the only feature is that it takes a lot of turns to screw the top to the bottom. I can live with it. You can't submerge the ground. Unless your hand is small you won't be able to get into the aluminum floor to clean the corners, which you SHOULD do quite often. I've found that it's best to get all the corners with a 1 inch brush. A baby bottle brush might also work. The brush works on the top and also on the filter on the bottom of the top. with hot water, add a drop of Dawn, brush. Rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse. Good clean jug (cleaning prevents caffeic acid from etching parts of the jug). through the connection between above and below. In this case, you usually forgot to clean the filter at the bottom of the coffee pot. Pour a little and then let it steep. Drink coffee and then clean the coffee pot. There is a small metal disc in the pot in case you want to cook half a pot. We've never used it so I can't say how/if it works. We don't do half pans. I've been using it probably 5 times a day for a month and it's still working really well. It saved us a lot of money and I would be very happy to buy another one.
