I bought two of these to use as sconces in the dining room. After trying different types of lightbulbs, I finally settled on 40-watt vanity screens to provide just the right amount of light. The 60W bulbs were too bright to be used directly over a table. These lamps are beautiful and easy to install! The only problem is that one of them works and the other keeps burning lightbulbs. I don't know if the cord is loose in the knot and there is no way to get in to fix it. however, the lack of equal quality in identical products is disappointing. They were much more expensive than other plug-in wall lights. I could buy two packs for the same price as one of them. So, just a note to the consumer, you may have to send it back for a replacement.
