The feeling is different from previous years

I had the exact same blanket 5 years ago and I really liked it. Unfortunately, his cable burned out and the ceiling no longer works even with a new cable. I was so glad I could find it again, but this new version is nothing like the old one at all. It doesn't get as warm and the material feels stiffer than the old one I had. When you move it feels like one of those wrapping papers used in shipping and just doesn't feel like a regular blanket. I'm just disappointed that the quality has dropped so much.
