UPDATE: January 24, 2021 I downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 4. After spending two weeks on my chair legs, they would slide off the ends of the chair legs, which is my most common use. Constant sliding around on the floor, especially when someone is sitting in a chair, will cause these covers to come off the legs and/or the brown felt and white adhesive to separate from the rubberized surface (see first photo). . They still work way better than the ones I've seen without the extra white cushion between the rubber and felt! However, keep in mind that chairs that are moved and used frequently will require you to purchase additional parts more often. risked! I've seen similar products that were "transparent" but they just didn't fit me on wooden chairs. I saw these which were "deep red" and they matched my chairs perfectly! I wouldn't have known they were there unless you looked carefully. I replaced the old felt pads I had before: as you can see in my photo, few of them were found sticking to the chair; the rest has already fallen off. Since the floors were hard, round and made of plastic, I bought them to protect the floor. My chair legs alternated between a tapered leg that narrowed to 1.25 inches and a square leg that was about 1.5 inches wide. The cases came in a plastic bag inside a soft envelope. As you can see from a photo, the top of the protector folds outwards, but once you attach them to the end of the chair leg they are tight. We had eight chairs and four extra protectors for the future. They fit perfectly and were easy to put on. Thanks for a great product!
