I want to sew a large batch of this onto a shirt or scarf and make it look like a flock of butterflies have just taken off. They will look great woven into friendship bracelets, sewn onto embroidery, or knitted. The buttons are cut from a fairly thick piece of wood so I think they will hold up for a bit of wear and tear. The edges are very smooth and don't stick to anything. All butterflies are the same size, but there are so many color variations that they all look very different. Of course there are duplicates in the stack, but you can definitely make a big random assortment if you want. I will start a project to add some of these.
