Works well good for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

Your battery is fully charged and 'fresh' when you suspect it can be fully charged. If this is not done, you could get false readings or, worse, damage the vehicle's ECU. This applies to every scanner. Also, do not connect it when the ECU connector is live. This is covered in the manual, but I also talk about it here.
