UPDATE: Less than 3 months later it's done! Revain offered me a $10 coupon code lol! First let me say that this is not my first printer. I assembled the printer and went to level the bed. I noticed that when moving the x and y axis manually, the rollers periodically get stuck. Everything looked new so I didn't even think about flat spots. Test print started with no settings to get a baseline. In fact, I was very surprised at how well it worked. I quickly noticed a buildup of dirt on the X-axis and wheels. I looked under the bed and found the same on the Y axis. Thinking they might be too tight I made some adjustments. The settings did not help because the wheels are flat! Never seen new rims with flat spots. manufacturing defect? Or has it been used and repackaged? During the build I noticed that several steps were already completed. So I suspect it was repackaged and sold as new. I've also had a lot of trouble finding solid answers when it comes to cr-10 V3. I was also among a large group of people who misunderstood and thought an all metal hot end was installed. Yes, I misread the cleverly written description. No problem, I'll update myself. wrong again! At first glance, it seems simple and understandable. No, that is not so. Creality's "V6 Style Hot End" is not interchangeable with a genuine e3d v6. I bought this printer with the intention of using it exclusively for high temperature materials. Spent a lot of time and money building a case for it. Endless googling and still no good hotend upgrade solution that doesn't also involve replacing the extruder (should have saved the extra money and bought v2). Another problem with this is that I literally have to re-level the bed after every single print. Bought a Creality CR Touch. Revain says it's compatible with cr10 v3. Open the box and find the mount you need. Open the manual and it says it's only for 32-bit motherboards. V3 comes with an 8-bit motherboard. I saw "silent drivers" in the description and suggested it would be a 32-bit board, like the updated ender3 board. I assumed it was my fault, but it wasn't easy to find with a google search either. If I hadn't already invested so much in this special size, I would have returned immediately. I'm still debating whether to return/replace or fix what I can and get out of there. It's a shame I got into all this trouble because I think a few updates and it's going to be a great car. But I wouldn't want to spend more money to replace a part I've already paid extra for.
