Ideal Home Dock for 15 " MacBook Pro

This is a solid Thunderbolt dock Key features I liked: The Thunderbolt port for connecting to your laptop is on the FRONT of the unit Most Thunderbolt docks have a port to connect my laptop to the back I want to be able to quickly remove my laptop from my desk and also be able to easily plug it back in. I also like that the headphone jack is on the front, along with a single USB-A port, the port works without Problems Charging: My 15" MacBook Pro (2017) was running on a 96W charger er. I suppose you could get a *quick* charge from this, but the dock's 60W output is more than enough for my work from home (two l displays, dozens of browser tabs open, Slack, Zoom , offices). and the battery stays at 100%. Note. Make sure you use a *Thunderbolt* cable (not USB-C) between the dock and your MacBook. Thunderbolt cable included. The white USB-C power cable from the Apple power adapter is a USB-C cable. Only the Thunderbolt cable ensures that the DisplayPort output works properly with the MacBook. I first connected my white USB-C cable from the dock to my MacBook and the DisplayPort output didn't send anything to my monitor. I replaced that cable with the included Thunderbolt cable and voila, it worked.

Pros
  • Dual Monitor Dock supports two 4K displays with a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz; Connect two displays via DisplayPort with the Thunderbolt Dual Monitor Dock; Expand your desktop to multiple monitors, TVs or Projectors with a Thunderbolt Hub
Cons
  • Fading Out
