After three years, the Samsung Active Watch 2 was released, but the original watch succumbed to weight loss and perished. Before that, there were products like the Sigma heart rate monitor and the Xiaomi wristband. The Suunto 5 is a high-quality timepiece designed specifically for athletes. Throughout my training, I was able to try out a variety of new activities for a week. In my experience, they perform best when used in conjunction with a chest heart rate monitor; nevertheless, when used alone, they are still quite useful in displaying the various pulse zones. The pool mode is a welcome addition, especially in the wake of Samsung. I intend to purchase a heart rate monitor, but the watch adequately meets my needs even without it. Athletes and hikers will be especially useful.
