12/24/2019. The mirror mounts with moderate difficulty. Adjustable in one direction only, therefore it is not possible to adjust the angle of the windshield arc. Worked fine but vibrated due to adjustment. I think it requires a bit of fiddling with the set screw to ensure there is enough tension to hold it in place but still allow for adjustment without backing out the screw. It hurts because you have to disassemble the clamp to do it. Despite these relatively minor issues, the mirror worked well for my purposes, which primarily drive in reverse, especially when I have a trailer. I have neck osteoarthritis which makes it difficult for me to turn over to look over my shoulder. Anyway, I've been belaying with mirrors for 45 years, so I prefer them. However, I couldn't give a good rating beforehand because the mirror cracked due to the cold (?!). It's late November and early December in upstate New York. We've had some unusually cold nights, in single digit Fahrenheit, but the mirror shouldn't crack at any temperature. I went back to try to contact the seller but Revane's approach frustrated that attempt. I have initiated the return of my money but this process failed leaving me in the dark. And a badly cracked, almost useless mirror. I hope the seller reads this and contacts me directly to try and resolve the issue. 07/01/2020 No response yet so I'll try again. I was willing to accept a replacement if that is the contact with me. I am now asking for a refund and will be going to another seller. However, I still have concerns as many products look exactly the same, suggesting they will all come off the same assembly line and face the same issues. Contact with the seller complicates the whole process.
