I spent quite a bit of time looking at warm sweatshirts and reading reviews before deciding on this model. It's nice and roomy so you can layer it up, but here (Henderson NV) it's warm enough with just a shirt underneath. The soft lining is so luxurious and soft. The jacket is quite long (to mid-thigh) which fits me perfectly. It also warms the thighs. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on shrinkage. But I put it in the dryer just to smooth out the wrinkles and then hang it out to dry. So far my favorite jacket for cold days. I'm 5ft 3in, 116lbs and the average size fits me.
