Approximately half the width stated. So it's too small for what I need it for. In the photos, it's a fairly rectangular bag with a slight taper at one end. The narrow end is opposite the end of the silver pattern. The description says 24 cm at this narrow end. That is not true. This bag has a large taper. The width at the widest end can be 24 cm, closer to silver color. But at the narrow tapered end, it's only about 4 inches wide, not 9 inches wide. The big difference is about half of what was expected. If it expands in width instead of height it might work for me, but not for something this narrow. This bag can hold a maximum of three or four 2 liter bottles of soda. Definitely undeclared volume of 18.5 liters. More like an 8 liter bag.
