We bought this for our husky who somehow escaped from the big Kong crate we bought him - he slipped between the door and the crate , while the door was still locked - twice. He also previously pulled out the pages that are sticking together. This box is huge - so big it looks like a tiger could fit in it. I fit in with my 6 year old son and my dog had room to get halfway through before saying no. I can sit down and my head is just touching the top of the box. We installed the screws backwards as other reviewers suggested and I think it was a good idea. Keeping our 1 year old husky inside worked, but we noticed he was chewing on bars and making dents. Also, I think the holes between the bars are too big as it became clear that he was sticking his snout through the bars and scratching at them, leaving wounds on the snout. However, tranquilizers seem to hold this back.
