Great for strip search, not rescue.
I must have been sleep deprived or drunk when I ordered this. No quick probe deployment. If you're using it to find someone buried, you're concerned with recovering a body, not a rescue. Each part is twisted together. The only positive was that it provided the perfect opportunity for jokes during my 3 day avalanche safety course. I don't know how it even ended up in my shopping cart. Still trying to find a use for it, maybe spearfishing?
