After reading many reviews on various background supports, the main complaint that probably bothered me was that the crossbar was too saggy and the side bars were bent. Sure, it's $10-$20 more than the cheapest props, and they don't have a background, but they'll be used for years and I don't need that hassle. Was it worth it? Yes, it was. Set up was quick and clear. There was no damage or defects. I raised it 8 feet high. There is no flex in the side battens. With 4 of the 5 bars (10ft wide) attached, I attached a full 1 quart (2lb 12oz) bottle of Nalgene in the center and the sag in the center is about 1 inch maximum.
