I like wheat straw tableware. Not only are they biodegradable, but they're also very lightweight (like two of the best paper-coated plates put together), easy to clean (even spaghetti sauce won't stain), and can be cut without leaving a mark. They clean up quickly and easily! I'm in my 70's and ordinary dishes were getting hard for me. So I used paper plates, bowls and coffee mugs. Since I got them I have stopped using paper products! I've even reheated food left in the fridge. I put it in the microwave and reheated it with no problems. Plates etc get hot in the microwave but if you wait a minute or two you can safely pull them out without burning yourself and the food will still be hot but your dish will not! Unfortunately they say don't microwave them for more than 5 minutes or they will start to melt! It's naturally 100% BPA-free and antibacterial, and 100% biodegradable for 6-9 months.
