It took a few tries to get used to the camlocks for assembly (this is my second time building something with camlocks), but it was easy with a short video assemble. I use it as a PC stand (an external backup drive and a bunch of media (yes I still have crap CDs and DVDs) on the shelves) for a medium tower (about Β£30). When fully assembled it will withstand grazing if I get too close; holds up well. I agree with the reviewer who advises leaving the back panel in the slot; We knock out a circle for wires, we at least pass, but we leave the back wall in place. The rear panel makes a small but necessary contribution to lateral stability. I would recommend this stand for: small desktop PC; Desktop mid-tower screen on the side with a case depth of no more than 18.5"; ordinary mini-tower screen with a case depth of no more than 16" (allow room for wires); stereo components.
