I needed them for a 2006 Tacoma with a 6" lift. The lift requires the tie rod end to be installed upside down and rubbing against the 16 inch wheels. They lengthened the wheels so that the end of the tie rod was completely separated from the rim. It didn't change the look of the truck much, which is what I was looking for. I could probably get by with 1 inch spacers. There were no instructions in the box so I didn't know what to do with the torque specs. So, just to be safe, I made ten pounds more than the regular wheel grommets.
