I read the reviews with some skepticism, but it seems to me that the instructions and advice have not been followed. I ordered 2 duvets, received them quickly and couldn't wait to try them. We have baseball in the spring and it can get pretty cold in the fall. I bought one for my knees and one for my shoulders. I knew it was just knee blankets when I pulled out the tape measure and measured my throws. I also knew the exact location of the heating element. I was pleasantly surprised to see that both duvets come with power adapters and they work great on all three settings. I also tested my Anker power supplies which have QC 3.0 as stated on the page. Both work with it. I checked them both inside and then again this weekend when it was 37 degrees outside. I took my other blankets to cover my lap blankets and stayed toasted for 2 hours as we sat outside with friends. I didn't have to sit right over the fire and get smoke in my eyes like everyone else, I let my friend use my second blanket so we could stay away from the fire and the smoke. PERFECT. I'm going to be the only mom staying warm at baseball games this year, but I promise I'll send them this link so they'll be just like me and stay toasted.
