Used these to make some cuts/holes in porcelain stoneware when laying shower tiles and used a standard cordless screwdriver instead of a Dremel. worked fine They start to penetrate the diamond coating after a few cuts, so it's best to take frequent breaks and wet the cutting wheel (I only had a container of water to soak it in) to maximize life. A light touch also proved helpful when using a cordless screwdriver instead of a Dremel. Otherwise completely satisfied with the result and would do "needs a few cuts in china" again for the same job.
