Review on ⚙️ 3M Laptop Stand: Reduce Neck Strain, Use as Second Monitor or for Zoom Calls - Easy Set-up, Sturdy Design, Non-Skid Base by Sean Young

I like this thing. I used my laptop (standard IBM Lenovo) as a third screen in my cube at work, but it seemed very far away and too low compared to my other two large monitors. I bought this and it allowed me to get the laptop much closer to me and I was able to raise the screen to eye level to align with my other two monitors. Basically, this laptop stand is strong enough to hold my laptop fully open and thus the laptop is perpendicular to my desk. (In fact, I currently have a cubicle at work and get a lot of comments from others in the office.) The only point I had was that I use a dock at work. The docking station fits perfectly on the stand without disturbing the balance of the laptop standing on it. It's still very durable. My dock is smaller than the base of my laptop so I place my laptop on the dock first and then I place my laptop/dock on the 3M stand. I thought of somehow attaching the docking station directly to the stand so it would stand up without a laptop, but my hands just didn't reach. Overall, the stand is solid yet lightweight. It's also very easy to break/configure and was available at a great price. I'm considering getting one just for my home office. This only saves surface space when you don't need to use your laptop's keyboard/mouse. Highly recommended.
