Review on SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Janis Berzins ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

I moved to this mouse from the G603 - it was a good mouse, if not for a common problem with the wheel. On the 3rd day of use, I noticed that when you press the left mouse button, in some places you can hear a wild high-frequency creak and a reverberation like from Soviet clamshells - I think it’s a marriage, but the first impressions of a mouse for 5.5k with such a nuance are so-so. I'll try to change it for the same one, but somewhere in the depths of my soul I yearn that the G603 has problems with scrolling, otherwise I would have taken it again without much thought. .: I changed it, I used it for two days - it seems, everything is ok. I was on a business trip for 2 days and upon returning I found out that the scroll creaks in this instance . Wonderful mice. I'll try to change, but this time on G603.

Pros
  • Sensor Two operating modes Not flashy design.
Cons
  • Bluetooth mode of operation - did not find how to quickly connect in turn to several devices. I understand that not everyone needs it. One way or another, you have to delete the device and add it again if the mouse was already connected, and then it was hooked up to another device. With the G603 it was easy enough to do this (on one device, bluetooth was turned off, for example, and it quickly connected to another PC) + on the G603, just a button to switch the mode - here it's not the smoothest toggle switch.
