Review on πŸ”₯ Wagner ThermoQuiet QC815A: Efficient Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set by Deshaun Fisher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality at a fair price

Excellent pads. Having to contend with the brakes on my 2001 Maxima, I decided to switch to ceramic pads from the semi-metal pads I had previously used and settled on them. I'm glad I did. This is a quality pad at a reasonable price. Soft, quiet stop. My only complaint would be the hardware that came with them. I originally used new hardware in the caliper bracket, but when I reinstalled the bracket I noticed that the rotor didn't allow for very large deflections. I then inserted a large screwdriver between the rotor and clamp to increase the clearance. In the end I decided to clean and put back the original clips. The new pads fit perfectly. I will use these pads in the future. - Update from 05-2017: 2 year spring maintenance (oil and filter change, air filter, brake check etc.). I am willing to replace the pads since they have been for 2 years. nope There's still a lot of meat on the pads - compared to the new set I was about to put in, they look like they're 2/3 smaller than the original. Perfect.
