This is an amazing device that gives us peace of mind. We bought our home 1 year ago and have already had to put in a basement system as the sellers have never reported any water issues. As a pump engineer, I know the limits of pumps and their typical failure modes. Even the best of them will fail one day. We are in a low area with high water table so our pump runs up to 2.75 minutes every 2 minutes. I expect it to run almost continuously in heavy rain. I love that I can monitor our pump and see if we have a high water level or a power outage. When we received our first unit it had an odd frequency hiss that bothered me, but it worked fine. I contacted PumpSpy and although they didn't know the reason, they replaced it for us with no questions asked. It was great working with them and they have a great product.
