Review on 🎧 Sony MDR-ZX310 R Foldable Headphones - Metallic Red by Aaron Gordon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good sound (for the price), very comfortable, thin cable

This review is based on my first impressions of the MDR-ZX310 R. Normally I would have waited longer, but I can say something and I don't have the feeling to have to wait. mute) new to me when I printed this MDR-V150 and this MDR-ZX310. Pros: metallic red look - the red models turned out to be cheaper than the white or black models but I also said that I didn't even think that was why I bought them, the metallic red look looks really good out. I have to agree with them. Sound - I've never had headphones over $150 to compare Sony headphones in this range, but they match the XZ100 and 110 100%. This might be bad for some people, but it's 100% positive. Of course, I use EQ or Rockbox firmware on my devices regardless of the headphones. but still i'm sure the sound quality could be better. I'm happy with them. I recently bought these with a pair of MDR-V150's and so far I think they sound better than my first tests with them in my MP3 player. They just don't sound right in my laptop. those 310s. the tone is correct with the same settings I have always used (EQ) for 100s and 110s (even on DIFFERENT laptops). They remind me of the Sony headphones I loved years ago, not new ones. the new ones sometimes sound awful to me with "IN YOUR FACE bass" and the mids and highs sound awful. They may not have the best bass compared to some others, but they do have it across the board in every genre I've heard. they just sound better. I have to say this based on the last paragraph. The bass is EXCELLENT for my expectations. I don't want people to think what I'm saying isn't that good. In my opinion it has a good "hit" without overpowering the mids and highs like I described. Fit - they feel GREAT. My MDR-V150 tweaks my ears 100% when I wear glasses, which I always do. but these . NO PROBLEM and I love them for it. Cons: Cables: They can last (note I bought these after a pair of thicker cable 110s lost tone on one side after two years of almost daily use), but the irony is that the 100's are the best cable has . Despite the shortcomings of this model, the MDR-V150 has an EXCELLENT cable. but these 310s have even thinner cables than the 110s. how the cable goes with a cheap headphone. I may need to stop using those 310s and leave them on my PC to protect the cable from wear and tear, but... I'm not a fan of them. beautiful . This is the only negative and if I can keep them for a long time by keeping them in one place. That might not be a problem, but I just wish there was a thicker, more secure cable. Like the 110s I have. It doesn't look like the cable (like I have the 100 or the MDR-V150) has any extra protection right where it enters the headphones. I never would have thought about it if my 110 hadn't gone and then I think the cable snapped. Overall - I bought this pair for about $9.99 and have seen them for $25. A cable issue COULD be off-putting to me if I paid a higher price but at the lower price I paid. I would take her again. I would only look at the 100 for the quality of the cable but I can say that for the right price I would go back to the 310 or compare the prices of the 300/310 to the 110 and consider.
