I didn't expect to get so damn close to the subject with this one. I think it will work (haven't used it in the field yet). It seems well built - although it's built to last, but I don't think I'll be shooting it - I'll have to pick something else. I use bi-focals and it just doesn't work for me. It should be normal for a person with good eyesight. As for me, I just don't like having to be so close to an object just to zoom in so I can see it. If it works for you, it's good value for money. If you have vision problems, you can move on to something else. There's a light and an LED, so don't expect to light up Broadway. It's probably good for being right on the cliff or whatever you're looking at. Back a little and good not much. This is just my opinion.
