I invested after trying 25mm from a friend (or is it 29mm?). Heats up quickly. So far it hasn't disappointed me. I have medium length hair. This curling iron gives me big elegant waves. I sometimes comb my hair to loosen the waves, but it's not necessary for a natural look. 25m gives me more defined and tighter curls that would be right after brushing. I didn't pay much attention to the hold after curling, but I seem to remember that the 25mm gave me curls that lasted all day (with hair setting spray).
