I received 16 reusable, washable bamboo toner pads. In addition to the pads, I was given an orange plastic zip-lock bag to store my clean travel pads and a mini laundry bag to keep all the pads together when washing. These cushions are made from two layers of soft organic bamboo fabric. They are designed to penetrate deep into your pores and effectively remove makeup, sunscreen, chemicals and cosmetics. I've found these pads to remove eyeshadow, mascara base and lipstick really well, especially since they have more surface area than my usual cotton circles or squares. Thanks to their size, these pads allow you to effortlessly remove dirt, oil and sebum without having to use multiple pads, making them eco-friendly. One criticism I have of these bamboo pads is that they aren't as soft as the disposable cotton circles or squares I've used, but I don't find them overly abrasive. The positive thing about these bamboo pads is that they are very durable and won't fall apart like my old cotton circles or squares. I even tossed my used ones in the wash and they weren't worn or worn. This gives me hope that they will last the claimed 1000 times before I have to replace them which in turn makes them eco-friendly. The pads have been fully washed and stripped of all waterproof and non-waterproof makeup including black eyeliner, black mascara, foundation and lipstick with no residue or discoloration. Overall I am very impressed with these reusable, washable organic bamboo pads and will not be buying single use cotton pads again. I would like to give half ratings because I feel that 4.5/5.0 stars is a more accurate representation of this product than 4.0/5.0.
