This birthday board is very beautiful! It is much bluer than it looks in the picture which I'm sure has to do with lighting and glare, but just be mindful of that when purchasing. It is still a "baby" or "sky" blue, but one solid color. To me, the product picture looks like it has an ombre effect.it does not.Only real issue I had that caused me to drop a star on the rating was the fact that they send the circle and heart cutouts still attached to the board they are cut from. (See attached pictures) It did not mention this anywhere on the description that I noticed, and others I've purchased send them in bags rather than attached to boards. Yes, they are actually cut, but you must punch them the rest of the way through and because of this, some of my hearts were not coming out properly. I had some that gouged out a little piece down at the bottom point and I also had a couple that broke through to the bottom hole (where you connect it to another piece with the rings) so that I could not use it at all. Unfortunately I did not think to take a picture of the ruined ones before throwing away, but I did attach a picture of the heart board where you can see some of them left the bottom tip attached to the board. Fortunately, I had planned ahead and ordered extra pieces anyways because I wanted to do all hearts, so I needed more than what it came with. I just wish they hadn't been wasted.All in all, though.I do think this board is very pretty and well worth the price!
