This is a very powerful nutcracker. The problem I have is that I use it to crack pistachios, which it claims it can. Well yes it is possible but you have to balance it between small spaces and if you don't hold it right you'll break your arm. it's really not worth driving a little nut out of. I'm sure it's great for a larger nut, but I wouldn't recommend it for pistachios or anything that size.
