Much more comfortable than plastic shower caps. Durability? So far so good - they seem very solid to me. I now carry a lot of shower caps for the swim and travel bag AND for my shower/toiletry bag (the female version of the dopp set) when I travel or camp. They hug the edges, don't sag and don't scratch. Mind you, my hair is 4 to 5 FEET long - almost to the floor (no, that's not a typo) and everything fits in these lovely shower caps - plenty of room. The colors are the same as in the picture - a very nice metallic. These are my new shower caps from now on, although they seem to be so well made I'm not sure I'll ever need to buy them again. The silky black interior is so comfy! Much more comfortable than plastic shower caps on both sides. I will never go back to them. Update: The other day I sank too deep into the tub and the back of my hair got a little wet.
