Review on Sensky BS011 12v 24v DC 3A Automatic Cabinet Sensor Switch with IR Sensor for Low Voltage LED Cabinet Light, Strip Light, and Rigid Light Bar by Marcy Padia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple and inexpensive way to control low voltage switching by motion near the sensor.

This is a short review I just received today so I can't speak to the history of the product but it looks and feels like a very well designed and made product. It paid off handsomely for this handyman. This was the final step in the new gun safe configuration I just purchased. I was really shocked at how easy it was to find the right spot to give me the shifting behavior I wanted. As shown in the picture, I placed under the step about 6-8 inches from the vault door. Switch side, not shown in fig. Three things switch the light:_ The door opens or closes, the switch occurs when the distance to the door is far enough that you can see inside the safe but cannot reach your hand, only two or three inches from closing removed._Something is moving inside the nearby safe with sensor. For example, placing items to the right of the safe, above or below, or anywhere above the switch's location will not trigger the switch, but a foot or hand that approaches the sensor and is inside the safe will trigger the switch out. outside of the safe frame doesn't cause a switch._Move the sword I have next to the sensor.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
