Review on CALTRIC ASSEMBLY RANCHER TRX420TE 2007 2013 by Johnny Moger

Ordered this shift motor on 14th October 2020 along with new original gears. I was trying to save $150 by not buying an OEM shifter motor. Unfortunately, about 5 hours after getting rid of it, I started hearing strange noises, and sometimes a horrible shifting error kept me from getting stuck in gear. I drove it a few more times, then it sat for about 6 months. Just took it apart and the OEM 10/84 reduction gear is chewed up as is the shaft on this motor. Now I have to order another transmission and decide if I want to try another cheap motor or an OEM shift motor. Very disappointed with the time it took. Attached are some pictures, they are a little hard to see but the gear/teeth on the shift motor are "twisted" and no longer straight and worn like the OEM gear.
