The cheapest listing of this product; great for the price but you still get what you pay for

I'm no artificial plant connoisseur but I've reviewed MANY artificial ivy plants before deciding on this and I'm pretty confident this is the Case is cheapest list for this product. There are many listings selling this particular variety of artificial ivy (7ft strands, 80 leaves per strand, 2 leaf sizes, printed fabric cut outs, usually in packs of 12) and the price is $10 for 14 strands. seems to be the cheapest. While it's definitely cheap, it gets the job done, so it's pretty good for the price. So you're looking at faux ivy in the ten dollar to hundred foot range. There is no such thing as perfect realism here. Anyone viewing this material from less than 20 feet for any length of time will determine that it is fake. These are simply plastic tendrils with printed fabric leaves glued on. It looks good in photos though and doesn't distract from the fake. This adds a green feel without the mess and need for watering. It calms me down, but most of the time I sit at my desk and only see it peripherally. If you really want to look at your artificial ivy, you should go for something more expensive depending on the standards of your artificial plant. I've seen some complaints about durability and actually lost a leaf just by taking them. out of the bag but I think it must have been an accident because I handled them pretty roughly when I hung them (they tangle instantly) and never got lost again. I've also seen many, many complaints about the smell and yes, when you first take them out of your bag they are quite unpleasant. I aired them out for a few hours before hanging them up and they still have a plastic smell which hopefully will go away after a few days with the windows open. If I had to do it all over again I would put them in a bucket of soapy water for a while before hanging them up. These garlands are fairly rare, so I highly recommend hanging them in uneven bunches so that at least two tendrils always overlap. If you can afford it, I'll buy a pack or two more than you need. I bought a pack that was enough for a small wall with three windows including a bookcase. An additional package would have made things a lot more impressive. Also, don't hang them up haphazardly. Trying to think about how the plant will grow will make your super cheap artificial ivy look more natural. It doesn't have to be difficult; Just remember that ivy doesn't randomly sprout out of drywall at odd angles, and try to keep all the strands connected and you'll be fine. If you want to add a little romance, a garland of swags hung with these creepers looks great.
