I recently bought a pair of inexpensive 27" FHD monitors only to find that they have no internal speakers but do have 3.5mm analog output jacks for HDMI audio . Aside from BT, I have 3.5mm analog inputs for these Votntut speakers that work well with my monitors. The speakers deliver a good sound with great volume. I set the PC and speaker volume to around 75% for normal listening, leaving room to increase the volume if the source is quiet or I want loud audio. I like having a physical volume control on the speakers so I don't have to open the computer's sound interface. I power the speakers from the charging port on the power strip so I don't "wast" the USB connection to my computer. I haven't used the BT function but I assume it will be ok. that's what they like, there is no power switch. Turning the volume knob all the way counter-clockwise eliminates all audio output, but doesn't seem to completely turn it off power-wise. I haven't tested it, but they probably draw so little power when not making any sound that there's no practical reason to have a true shutdown mode, but I'd still like that option (but that's probably just an old thought) . .
