How do I print from the USPS website

We only ship at the USPS Priority rate and I bought the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL because I read it can print directly from the USPS website. Not so! I was unable to adjust the printer settings or the USPS website settings to get the correct print orientation. Very unpleasant! I called DYMO Technical Support and was told that they do not offer support for their product when used with the USPS. They only offer support if you use their DYMOstamps website or any other website that charges a monthly fee. I was about to send it back but decided to look for a solution. After spending more time than I'd like to admit in my search for an answer I've taped together the following solution which isn't perfect but works for me as I don't post it every day. I use my computer to print. To print from the USPS website using the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL:1. On the USPS website, choose PDF instead of Print Label.2. Open or save the PDF (I open the PDF to save the steps, but you can save it if you want to print it later). Your file will most likely open in Adobe Reader.3. Select View -> Rotate View -> Clockwise (either counterclockwise or 90 degrees - just make sure the image is in portrait orientation)4. Select Edit --> Take Snapshot5. Select/highlight the 4x6ish.6 label area. Right-click in the highlighted area and select Print.7. Choose DYMO LabelWriter 4XL in your printer settings and print. Voila, perfect print every time! Also, under Printer -> Properties -> Advanced, make sure the paper size is set to 4" x 6" (1744907). it's better than the old paper, print, scissors and ribbon method I've used for so long. I hope this saves someone time and nerves. Feel free to let me know if you have a better solution! The 4XL was easy to install and connect, and prints quickly and quietly.
