My hair is naturally short and curly so I always have a stubborn cut on the shaft of hair near my left ear that won't lay flat but sticks up like I have a wing at the back my ear. No matter how many times I blow dry my hair, I'm left with that damn stubborn little click. As it is at the very top of the ear I can easily burn my ear as most flat irons are too big and I can't see the ripple properly. I bought this little flat iron and it has made it so much easier to tame my wild little curl. I still have to be careful not to burn my ear but as the end of the iron is much smaller I can see my ear much better which greatly reduces the risk of burns. I wish I had bought this iron a long time ago.
