Review on 🧽 Ecotools Brush and Sponge Cleansing Shampoo, 6 oz - Makeup Brush Cleaners (Packaging May Vary) by Jill Lawrence

Why the "use only soap " argument doesn't work with face makeup or brushes.

You know how much time and effort you put into finding permanent makeup. No matter how much makeup you wear, long-lasting makeup comes at a price. You can't just wash your face with regular soap to wash off your mascara/eyeliner/foundation all day, can you? The same applies to your brushes. Coming from someone who doesn't really care about cleaning brushes. I only started using it about 7 years ago. After 3 years I started cleaning them. Rarely. And I figured vigorous hand washing with soap was all you needed. It wasn't, I thought dishwashing liquid was all you need. It still wasn't. I thought natural discoloration was inevitable for the lazy. In short, it turns out I was wrong and life is simple. Elbow lubrication has been fine for years. until I got the stuff on a whim. The same brushes that were slowly becoming discolored and wearing out constantly looked almost new after my "first" cleaning. I almost wish I could take pictures, but my only regret is the $5 brush cleaner.
