So far this pump works perfectly. What was a bit confusing at first were the included screws. There are 9 screws in the box and 9 screw holes in the pump. However, of the 9 screws provided, only 3 (long) are used to attach the pump. You should save the old 6 screws for reuse in a new installation. The 3 long screws will stretch and cannot be reused. 4 very short screws are for the fan mount (old fan screws cannot be reused) and 2 medium sized screws are used for the down tube. All threads are metric. There were also 3 hexes in the box. I only used one. The product is recommended.
