I have a 15 inch fat boy laptop that weighs 9 pounds. it would be such that the balance would be upset. Although typing on a stand is generally uncomfortable on my wrists, I'm happy to say that it has good balance. I was very happy with the attention to detail, the small end flaps to keep your laptop big enough and stable, but I was worried they wouldn't be tall enough. Carrying case, which I find very good, especially considering the price. It's a very light product and when the stand is unfolded some parts might feel a bit flimsy, but when everything is latched it's solid and doesn't flex. My laptop weighed my body to see how much stress it could take and it didn't budge. Very happy with the product.
